Bones particularly in the upper back, lower back, spinal cord, neck, jawline and ribs can be affected by the cancerous cells production. 11. Neck and Jaw Inflammation
If the lung cancer begins to advance and spread in the upward direction, it will begin to adversely impact the neck and face. The face will also become swelled up as the cancer cells begin to channelize their way in the upward direction. Swelling in the neck and face is never going to appear in the early stages of lung cancer. Only when the cancer accelerates and begins to move into later advanced stages, your neck, jawline and face will start to swell up. The swelling will begin to increase with every passing day.
Wheezing refers to the whistling sound that is produced when you cough. It is not something that you would experience with normal coughing or mild flues. The onset of these sounds indicates towards a serious condition, most likely cancer. If you suffer from lung cancer, you will complain of persistent coughing. There will also be increased pressure on your wind pipe which means that when you cough it will result in weird sounds being produced from the throat i.e. wind pipe. Wheezing is a common symptom that indicates towards something severe happening inside your chest or throat.
